I haven't collected new makeup in a while either. I think i'm going to start getting creative with it again. (like every god damn other thing in my life.....why not?)
(not THAT creative)
...........
now that i think about it, I think I just really love anything that comes in millions of colors. (even though I usually end up getting black)
aka....
American Apparel
Sharpie
Prismacolor
Ikea
Mac cosmetics
Apple Products
Sneakers..??
gogo dancing fur covers
I'm getting carried away.
Goodnight :)

BEWARE: the return of nightmonstr.....

I AM STARTING A CLOTHING LINE

under my old collaborative blog name:
NiGHTMONSTR
...to feature my high contrast, bright illustrations (of rising stars, upcoming underground names, and/or any custom requests) creatively placed onto american apparel style garments, then hand embellished with sequins, glitter fabrics, cutouts, transparent layers, glow-in-the-darks, etc.
Website will feature sneakers, hoodies, dresses, shirts, leggings, headbands, hats, bags, unitards, and jackets.
This is going to keep with the original Nightmonstr vibe...underground nightlife fashion. And that will be apparent in everything from the layout of the website to the ways we are going to advertise.
P.S. props to my old Nightmonstr co-blogger, DJ Jess Okay, who is opening for The Sounds at the TLA in Philadelphia this saturday.
(check out my illustration of her at plastikasterik.blogspot.com -- one with a neon yellow/green background - going to be the first to be translated into clothing!)

^ $OLD!! ^
such a compliment, but at the same time you are highly respected....
this was always one of my favorites!
I'm so happy to know that someone shares the same visual feeling as me when looking at this piece.

HUGE thank you
to everyone who came out to support me.
Never hard feelings for the people who couldn't make it. But your appreciation for me and my art means more to me than i can put into words. It gives me the confidence to carry on, and most importantly....be able to look at myself in the mirror and really believe that i can be someone, no matter who that may be. You've made my life mean something more just by being there.
